Since today was absolutely beautiful, and there
was no school (Teachers' meetings) we decided
to take a walk at Starr's Cave/Nature Preserve
this afternoon. We ran into some friends, and
all had a great time!
The kids had fun wading in the water, although
I heard it was rather chilly.
Such a pretty day!
The kids made a new friend. Layla wasn't too
sure about the stick bug . . .
Skyler thought it was pretty cool.
We kind of like the juxtaposition of this bird's
nest on top of the bat house:
The kids always love the bridge.
I enjoy taking nature pictures:
The girls had a great time riding in the wagon!
Another tree shot:
Our elfish son. He made this "hat" out of snake grass.
The kids running down the trail . . .
Rick looked so cute pulling the wagon!

What great pictures. Starr's Cave is such a pretty place no matter what season. You took some really nice nature shots. The kids look good too!
