Oh Tiny Bomb!

Family traditions are fun to have and make. Growing up I remember making a Christmas Tree out of Star Cookies, and Mom had the set to do it. I remember doing this at least once and thought that it would be fun to do with my family now.

I don't remember most of the work that went into putting this together, and so I believe Mom probably did all of the work while we were at school or distracted or something (Thanks Mom).

Here is the cookies assorted, the recipe said to make 4 of each size:

When using all 40 cookies the tree was jinormous, and not very stable:

We removed some of the cookies and Skyler gave his approval to go ahead:

We had a blast Decorating the tree(s), we used the "excess" cookies to make an extra tree:

This one Skyler took the helm of:

He did an awesome job.

Mom (Ginny) took over the "big" one and did wonderful also:

Merry Christmas.

What is a Mother?

Well I have decided to do a Mothers day post. It might be something like unto a top ten countdown thingy, I don't know. Well, here goes....

Number ten(10)--

Marge Simpson, I know you are all thinking why would you put Marge on the "top ten mother's countdown thingy©" Well, she puts up with quite a-bit, and that is what most mothers have to do, I know just about all mothers I have ever met do, and she does it without too much worry, what a mom?!

Number Eight(8)--

This is one of those videos that has been seen by millions, I think because it gets to the heart of the point, Moms are important at getting the kids through the day. All of these things at the same time may seem like a stretch, but if the mom has more than one kid, than it is probably likely they are all said, and likely multiple times a day.

Number Seven (7).---

Bambi's Mother, Who doesn't remember the heart-renching tale of Bambi losing his mother. It always brings tears to my eyes thinking of how lonely he must have been after she was gone.

Number 6 (Six)-----

Well this one is kind of an obvious one, Carol Brady.

Who else could take this spot in the count down.

Number Five(5)----

Well this is the one That I had to think over and contemplate the most. Some of you pRobably think that coming up with a countdown for mother's day would be easy, just go and steal someone elses list, it is much harder than that, you have to check out at least two or three others to make sure you aren't blatantly plagerizing and then re-edit their comments to fit your writing style so it doesnt sound completely out of context and. so for Number five of my "top ten mother's countdown thingy©" is Changing diapers, I know you are all probably going to say that isn't just for mothers, dads can do it too, I know, I know, but mothers are so much better at mothering than the rest of us and this is definately an act of love. And Guys just don't do quite the same job.

Number Four(4)----

Well for this one I did something a little different, I went to google, and typed in "Mom" and instead of the normal search button, I hit the "I feel lucky" button and this is what I got: Mom.

Number Three(3)----

Now when you think of mom what is the third thing you always think of, Yeah I know the first two are probably, 1- the person who gave birth to me, and 2-That woman who washed my clothes, but 3 is a little bit more complex to get too, but I will give you a couple seconds to think, and that is right--- Someone who lets you do strange thangs, and most often is there encouraging and joining in with it.

Number Two(2)---

Well this one is just too difficult to decide, so I'll just skip it. Yeah that's right I'll skip it.

Number ONe(1)---

Well, I'm going to Bunch in all mothers, Mine, my kids', My sister, all of those special women who try so hard to help out everyone around them.HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!
