Layla is 2 Months Old . . .

Already!? How did that happen? She is 8 wks today and had her 2-month check up (and shots!) today. She did wonderful. Layla is now 10 lbs 12 oz and 22 3/4 inches long. She has moved up to the 50th percentile for weight and 75th for height. Not bad for such a small start! The doctor says she looks excellent and told us to "keep up the good work." She even did well for the shots. Layla smiled at the nurse and made her feel really guilty just before she got poked. She cried for the shots, but calmed down fairly quickly. I got Layla home and she gave me some nice smiles before going off to sleep. I got some pictures, included here. You can see the band-aids from her shots on her legs. Sweet girl!
