Since I have been so lax in posting as of late, I think I am a couple months behind, I will try to do a post to help catch up. And as the title somewhat uh-loo-d's to Skyler has had his second pinewood derby. I will try to let the pictures do the talking, and most likely will explain where it is not needed.
These are the cub scout's cars, there was one or two late-come'ers that were not there yet. Skyler's car is the red one with "Magic" painted on.
This following video is a compilation of almost all of the "heats" from that night, I took a picture of the first then remembered to set it to video. This was done with our digital camera, and so is not professional quality, but enjoyable, I hope. I am going to try to have two versions, a high and a low resolution, both the same thing, but the first being over 41 megs, and the other a lot less.

These were our pack's cubs this year posing for a group shot.
Skyler won 2nd place this year, he did a wonderful job on his car. He did most of the work this time minus using the power tools, I helped him on that but he still did awesome. He picked out the design using this tool the Scouts provide. Good Job Skyler.

This is random, but I remember when my brother made his car for the Boy Scouts derby, and me being the helpful little sister spent hours with him perfecting the paint job.
My brother's 28 now, but seeing those pics made me feel nostalgic. Thanks for the memories!
