Trunk-Or-Treat 2010!!!!

This year's Halloween Season is coming into full swing, and as such so come dressing up and having fun. We asked Skyler what he wanted to be, and he decided on a Wizard, specifically one that would be found at Hogwarts, and as you can see, the rest of us took on a magical spin in our costumes.

As in past years, our church had an activity planned for the kids, there were games and contests, we all had fun.

To trunk-or-treat, is kinda like trick or treating, but happens in a parking lot, with trunks being the "door" you go to to get the goods. Here is our car's trunk, we came up with a ghost theme and ran with it:

The sign says: "Ghost Motel" we found it at the dollar store place, and decided to use that as our trunk's personality, you can kinda tell that there are a couple beds located here that Ginny made, with headstones as headboards. The Ghosts I came up with, Last year as you will definitely remember i made a paper mache spider, and so I thought I could do something of that this year, and went all out, I even cleaned up most of the mess I made. The morning of there was a pretty good rainy stormy happenstance and so we kinda got worried, especially as the rain left but the wind took over. Contemplating this Ginny pronounced that a two liter soda bottle would be a good weight and it wasn't, it was perfect.

Along with the activities and such, there was to be a pumpkin carving contest, Ginny took head of this task and here is what she came up with:
