This year's Halloween Season is coming into full swing, and as such so come dressing up and having fun. We asked Skyler what he wanted to be, and he decided on a Wizard, specifically one that would be found at Hogwarts, and as you can see, the rest of us took on a magical spin in our costumes.
As in past years, our church had an activity planned for the kids, there were games and contests, we all had fun.
To trunk-or-treat, is kinda like trick or treating, but happens in a parking lot, with trunks being the "door" you go to to get the goods. Here is our car's trunk, we came up with a ghost theme and ran with it:
Along with the activities and such, there was to be a pumpkin carving contest, Ginny took head of this task and here is what she came up with:
The lines are traced with some paint to stand out better in the daylight as the event was to occur in daylight, following are some closeups in the dark, lit by candle light internally:
Hopefully you enjoyed, maybe we will have more Halloween excitement to share following the next few days leading up to the spooky day.
Have a safe and Happy Halloween! Boo

You guys look terrific. Wish we could have been there to see in person. Grandma Lorna
You are one creative family. I'm glad everyone had fun. Layla sure does make a cute little witch. I liked the other costumes too. Skyler's cloak looks great on him.
