Kids Can Be So Funny!

Yesterday morning, Skyler had a lot of trouble getting ready for school. He was really out of it and so was being a "slow poke." Well, being the grumpy pregnant Mom that I am, I kept after him to hurry up, or else he would "miss his bus." Skyler didn't like the sound of that. "I don't want to miss my bus! What would happen if I did?" "Well," I replied, "then you would just have to walk to school!" This would never really happen--his school is on the other side of town! I looked down at Skyler and he had tears in his eyes. "What's the matter?" I asked. "What if I get hit by lightning?!" he cried. Well, a hug and an explanation later he was fine, but I did get a laugh out of that one!
